We have a small herd of Angora Goats -- white and colored. Angora Goats are smart, easy to manage animals that are wonderful for cleaning up weedy areas or noxious weeds such as leafy spurge and spotted knapweed - to name a few. Mohair is known for its soft, luxurious, hand, rich luster and durability as a fabric. Mohair absorbs dyes very well; producing colors that have an umatched clarity and halo-like glow.  We have breeding stock and kids available for sale in late summer. The Angora Goats are sheared in March and September; so raw fleeces can be purchased at that time. The beautiful mohair, roving, and yarn from their lustrous coats is available year-round. The mohair blends beautifully with Shetland wool, and we have had some of those lovely combinations put together. Please e-mail us at fiberfarm@imt.net for what is available.  |
