This year BEA members have an opportunity to nominate deserving individuals in two award categories:
Teacher of the Year
Friend of Education
The BEA Awards Committee selects winners for each category from the submitted nominations. The award winners are honored at the annual Educator Appreciation Awards Banquet in late April. Also honored at the banquet are the Golden Apple winners and School District 2 retirees and 25 year employees.
2008 BEA Awards Information
Nominations will be accepted from members only through March 14, 2008. Criteria for each category is listed on the nomination form. Download a nomination form by clicking this link: BEA Awards Nomination Form This year's Educator Appreciation Awards Banquet will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the Holiday Inn Grand Montana. Tickets will be available from your BEA Building Representative or at the BEA office begining April 3, 2008.

Golden Apple Awards is a community-based awards program, different and separate from the BEA Awards. Anyone from the community can nominate teachers and specialists from the Greater Billings Area for the six awards given by the Golden Apple Committee. Go to the School District 2 website, www.billingsschools.org, to download a Golden Apple nomination form.
